Sham Soltaire is a deck of cards created by artist Marian Balfe. The cards are decorated with Marian's paintings, depicting objects, characters, and scenes from life growing up in the rural midlands of Ireland.
I assisted with the general design of the cards, card box, and created the reverse card design; a pattern made of cut-up sections of the original paintings.
The project was funded by the Irish Arts Council, Longford County Council, Age Friendly Longford, and Roscommon County Council.
